I will eventually forget as I do everything, but last month when I was in and out of the vet because my dog was having some complications the receptionist said my dog is so cute she'd die for him and I haven't forgotten yet.

Honestly I left proxmox/virtualization OSes a while back for simple RHEL. I have Docker for most everything and the few things I need full virt for the features Cockpit provides are more than enough. If I ever get back into clustering I'll look at proxmox again.

The article just says the babysitter took a nap while the GoFundMe says the babysitter was a drug addict.

Cobb, 48, has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to children, both felony charges.

This has to be wrong - is this a trumped up charge to get them to take a plea deal or something? I've checked other articles as well. Second degree murder is intentional but not premeditated murder, this fits more into 3rd degree or involuntary manslaughter territory.

Save a click: it's Gainesville Florida. The New York in the title is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reference.

In the settings under options -> gameplay you can turn off "5% generated heroes" which prevents that behavior you mentioned.

What if my job title says that? Who's going to tell my employer they're wrong.

Then again, "full stack software engineer" as a title might also well just be buzzwords.

!And yes, I know the site is satire lol.!<

If you don't have access to a controller, I found that ADSing on Mon-scoped weapons let's you move faster than walking without burning oxygen.

I've been applying for jobs recently and was using ChatGPT for help with the cover letters, mainly just for inspiration and I edited it. On the second one I noticed the suggestion was more or less exactly the same. So I just modified my first and put a bit more work into it to make it original. Each subsequent one was the same, and I generated a dozen and a half. Useful for picking out things worth highlighting, but I wouldn't be surprised if that first and maybe even second place assumed it was ChatGPT right away lol. Definitely know what it smells like.

Same (re: mind ~~dog~~ fog), unfortunately for me treatment hasn't helped. But I've also discovered CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) as another route to investigate.

Yes. People get so used to driving that they react poorly in new situations (like tunnel vision but on a grand scale). Driving became a chore and muscle memory to them.

The thing with driving though is it is very dynamic, you can't simply half ass your way through it forever.

One of the first things I learned when getting my motorcycle license was to treat every driver as a threat, and I've applied that to my driving as well.

Just remain vigilant and aware while driving.
