My cheap knockoff elgato has that and it still creeps me out when I use it lol.
Undiagnosed but in the same boat - psychiatrist treats me for it.
Although for me it doesn't matter if I know the person or not, looking into their eyes feel too intimate. But I could by looking at the bridge if their nose, because somehow the brain meat sees that as completely different and people don't notice (unless they're like, inches from my face but then we have other problems).
Yes, the menu on mobile says "Platform powered by PeerTube" on the bottom.
Useless fear mongering over the behavior of statistical models. No actual persistent memory unless we add it (and then then it isn't "memory"). They're driven only by their prompts, context, and training data.
I switched a while back, but grew frustrated with most of the solutions. Apparently while my music is on Spotify, some of it isn't in the MusicBrainz database, so automation and tagging/sorting tools just crapped out. The solution of submitting the data just wasn't work I was willing to put in (the guide on making a submission alone was too much).
Ultimately I did most everything manually and got a workable solution, but without added variety I lost touch with music and stopped listening all together over time.
Growing up in a relatively large house my parents rented out half the house (the finished basement) a few times. They never directly asked for our consent, but we were informed beforehand so I guess we had the opportunity to speak up?
I'm a dog person with a fenced backyard, a dog door, and a mudroom (a room meant to get dirty while I clean them off if it's raining). They get to walk and do their business, I get to not walk them in the rain or cold. Win/win.
The ad serving companies (Google) don't care about what happens after the click (yet). As far as I'm aware no "handshake" process exists that would allow an advertiser to communicate with the as server and validate a click (such a process could be abused).
Most likely the advertiser would be using some form of client side analytics, so the click wouldn't show up in their statistics, meaning the advertiser would see a huge discrepancy between the clicks they saw in the campaign and the clicks the ad server reports.
My dog is old and going deaf and blind. Anytime I leave him he whines, I had to leave him with a friend for about a week to attend a wedding and apparently he whined the entire time. I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of love but I know he doesn't hate me.
You'd think the hottest day record being broken daily for what, a week back to back, would kick our asses into gear. Instead most people barely acknowledged it.
As someone with aphantasia (can't visualize) and no inner voice, I prefer audiobooks, if the narrator is even mediocre. They also work well with my ADHD, since I struggle with mental tasks without multitasking - audiobooks help me do the chores and commute - even if I don't remember the audiobook lol. I frequently have to rewind.

I stumbled on this post in my all feed. I don't journal and don't think I can contribute meaningfully but still feel like contributing a deadpan:
No. I have aphantasia.
lol
