My house was built in 1999, my furnace in the attic is original. 27 years old and going strong. True every year I need to blow it to get it up and running, but compared to the alternative I'll take it!

In a similar vein, the gas fireplace is also original and also going strong.

As a 5 owner I'm in this picture and I don't like it.

Granted I formerly had a Bolt EUV and liked the size. The 5 is a tad large for my taste.

Your connection being fine during downtime is a new detail not in your original post that changes the dynamics. That being said I believe my other response should be helpful.

Well, it can't hurt to cross it off. You don't need to get a domain from a registrar that offers dynamic DNS, you just need to register a domain (or try another dynamic DNS like the other user suggested) and use a DNS provider that is free and offers an API. I personally use Cloudflare, there are plenty of guides for setting up a dynamic record on CF.

For registering a domain you can use an affordable registrar, I'm a Porkbun customer - for a .com domain it's like $11 for a year. No need to spend monthly.

While driving I passed a skeleton at least two stories tall and nearly shat myself.

I bought my house back in 2021, and despite no renovations for myself or my neighborhood the property tax I've paid had gone up by just under 25% each year these last two years. I haven't checked the change in assessed value but I think this bill would make it sting less lol

Valheim man. I need to find another group to play that with lol. Such a great game. Such a bummer the new content each release is more endgame content and I just want to grind from scratch on a new save but never get to the new content.

As someone who despises ads, if adblock on YouTube were to stop working tomorrow I wouldn't use YouTube until it's fixed. So creators I do watch aren't missing out on ad revenue they'd otherwise get with me. If I recommend a video to a friend who doesn't block ads, a friend who otherwise wouldn't see it, the creator still benefited from my view. For creators I enjoy often, I support them in other ways - subbing if they stream, buying merch, etc.

There's two that I can see. Both on the same line. If you look at the inside bottom of the camera cutout, then move your vision slowly left, you'll see the first one. A bit more for the second.

A heat gun is also inexpensive and very useful. 3M mount you need to remove (and/or reuse)? Heat gun. Sticker? Heat gun. Frazzled threads on clothes? Heat gun. No time to properly blow dry? Heat gun! (the last one is a joke, don't do that).

If you buy one of those registered agent services that might work - I haven't looked into it and you're looking at a couple hundred a year though.
