These statistical models are not capable of that. They are capable of self reinforcing s feedback loop of looking malicious but it's ultimately just how the numbers align and has nothing to do with actual intent.

Oh yes, sorry. I've been team AMD for so long I forget lol.

I have the same issue with HDR on Linux I had on Windows - support. But, on KDE Plasma it works well enough that I usually forget it's working. Before I switched to KDE Plasma though I was on Gnome and it was a tad more difficult.

Here’s an archive link in case anyone else refuses to give Substack views due to their affinity for Nazis (kind of ironic given the article context as well): https://archive.is/h61dD

Thanks for clarifying! It's been a while since I've worked with IPv6 directly, fortunately it "just works" in my current home environment and since I'm no longer doing colocation for my self hosted stuff it's on the back burner.

If your ISP is doing to right IPv6 should be setup for SLAAC, in which case they would give you an entire /64. I don't use OpenWRT, but I assume it's showing you the IPv6 /64 from IPv6-PD used for SLAAC, and the /128 the router is using to communicate with the ISP If it's SLAAC your client devices should be getting two IPv6 addresses as well. One is for privacy, that's the one websites will see when you connect but can't be hit, and the other is the one you would use to reach your computer from another device.

Edit: Refer to @Sammirr@aussie.zone's child comment for a better explanation with some corrections / clarifications.

I bought my house back in 2021, and despite no renovations for myself or my neighborhood the property tax I've paid had gone up by just under 25% each year these last two years. I haven't checked the change in assessed value but I think this bill would make it sting less lol

I agree. In fact, the only check is if it contains the @ symbol, since "com" and other TLDs/gTLDs can have MX records, it is possible to have email@com. Not that we'd ever see it in practice though.

I met a 25 year old a few months back who used cash. They didn't trust banks and was mad their mom was forced to open a bank account to get paid at work. They were also stuck in an abusive household.

Apparently that's one subset of people who use cash.

And to clarify they had no clue how banks worked at all.

+1 for a used Lenovo. I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q I used to run as a server I got for ~$50 with an i7-7700. Only thing it was missing was an A/C adapter which set me back ~$30 IIRC.

When I'm looking, I'll browse eBay's desktop category sorted by ending soonest auction only and occasionally something will pop up that is worth it.
