In getting mixed vibes. It feels like it's people with no relationship prospects (for whatever reason, and I can attest to this as one of them) who might tend toward the "2d girls > 3d girls" crowd getting a harsh reminder. That and the music.

Do you particularly need a gaming laptop for such infrequent use? I can't solve the blackouts / in for repair or upgrades issue, but I personally got a Steam Deck for this niche in my life and prior to that I used Moonlight to game stream from my home desktop when on vacation.

Not optimal for FPS games but for my use (MMO) more than sufficient. Just a couple potential options, obviously YMMV - Moonlight depends on your Internet connection on either side.

Every time I recall those episodes, and the pain, it gets easier to do, emotionally.

And theoretically I could just get it operated on - there have been improvements in the field. But the prospect of going under the knife is scary, especially in an area where one fuckup or miscalculation could lead to partial paralysis for life. Throw in a mix of abusive American healthcare and... Weekly therapy is more preferable.

No. I've considered it though, but I'm a tad worried it won't make a difference considering the options I've seen probably don't result in 200lbs of force being applied.

Dang, I did a Ctrl + F on used but should have considered that as an indicator lol.

A couple weeks after getting it I took it on a 1800 mile road trip. The one I got is a '22 Chevy Bolt EUV, the DC fast charge tech is slower than newer stuff and even older Tesla stuff (caps out at 50KW), but honestly that wasn't that noticeable except toward the end when I started getting impatient. ABRP (A Better Route Planner) and the NACS adapter were definitely confidence boosters.

I work full time at a computer. I have two jobs, so I put in 68 hours a week (second is 28 hours a week, no overlap).

I have no issues with eye fatigue best I can tell, that or I've just gotten so used to it. I will note I do have the blue light filter on my glasses lenses my optician recommended.

If I'm using Bluetooth earbuds I can receive a call from Signal or WhatsApp. So it stands to reason it's possible a Bluetooth device exists to act like earbuds but for a landline phone. I found a few (cell2jack and XLink BT HD) but could not verify if they'd work for anything other than normal phone calls.

While there is some credence to "you can't truly learn to live another until you learn to love yourself", I think we king as you approach a relationship with the right mindset you don't have to love yourself / be happy. Right mindset being the operative word.

Anecdotal, but back when my depression was even worse I approached them as a "if I can't be happy I want to dump 110% of myself into the relationship to make my partner happy". It doesn't take alot to understand why that's such a bad approach. As long as you find someone who you can trust with your weaknesses and be trusted with theirs, maintain a open line of communication, and generally be comfortable around I don't see why not.

You might tell yourself in retrospect that you consciously made that decision to deepen it and twist it, but with the adrenaline, panic, fear? You instinctually reacted to survive, and the fact you were able to withdraw from the situation before inflicting greater harm is a testament to the fact it wasn't cruel.

Yup. Toyota Yaris '15 stock. Lowest trim they offer.

I had it but typo'd top right and apparently didn't notice, as I thought it was invalid, so I ruled the answer out and put the wrong one.
