It's kind of annoying that 51 people lost their jobs to tariffs and they only write an article about the rich guy at the top of the family empire. But I'm sure that the 50 other families' quests for food and shelter and medicine were pretty boring compared with the breakage of the boss's money-generating machine he inherited.
Granted, he is the one who most deserves the leopardsatemyface recognition.
This crap has to be part of Krasnov’s mission to weaken and dismantle the US.
The entire developed world has fertility rates well below population maintenance levels. Countries are going to need to attract immigrants to keep their work forces and tax bases stable, never mind growing them.
The USA is going to have problems attracting immigrants for decades if not generations, unless some crazy shit unexpectedly changes for the better with our government.

I tried out Jellyfin last month.
Now Plex is uninstalled.
Even if we ignore the differences when it comes to matters of FOSS, cost, corporate control, privacy, etc, Jellyfin’s performance is just so much better.

It amuses me to no end how here on Lemmy, with our concentration of computer nerd types, absolutely HATES touch screens in cars.
But to be fair, I think everybody who reviews cars says they hate them too.
Invasion of privacy is a very big deal to our legal system when it is the rich peoples’ big number papers.
My hyper focus makes me a good programmer. Unfortunately I only activate it every couple days. With their powers combined… I’m worth keeping employed. 👍🏻

I finally got to read this article and the situation is even better/dumber with more context. I didn't realize the layering at first.
This CEO used AI to avoid paying human lawyers to help him figure out how to avoid paying human game developers.
This asshole needs to get some kind of "Yo Dawg I heard you like AI" anti-award.
