A few weeks I also dumped Windows 11 for Linux Mint... and what a relief and improvement! I feel in control again and can see what's going on in my machine. My laptop is running smoother then ever without the AI rubbish in my face (and behind the screen).

I have started recommending the switch to friends as well.

Can't live without Joplin anymore. Just being in control of your own stuff and so useful on many devices. Next step for Joplin: make todo/tasks even better, for instance by making a connection with todo.txt possibly (another open source set of apps I came to love deeply).

I have tried those flashy browser themes (dark, grey or retro colors, wild designs) but in the end, I always switch back to Mozilla’s plain Dark theme. No distractions. It’s simple and straightforward like a good, reliable tool should be.

Yes, I understand. The annoying thing is that you end up with two or more apps for the same purpose. Mid-term, I think the only way to go is to go cold turkey at some moment, but it will costs you some friends and family contacts.
