because it's our content, not reddit's.

lolyep, quite often it was, and they usually wouldn't survive the fall but just go splash

that's not enough options tho. we can only pick a single thing from those drop-down lists, and we can't sort results in any way at all - most of those options in the last box are borked and give results from several days ago

he should have just been pinged by that comment, but i'll do it from the world instance just in case

hey @ruud there's a community where the top mod has gone inactive and the next person wants to do some changes but can't. could you please help? cheers

mu hu huahahahahahahaha that's the best bit - it's not mine either. i'm the goofy and absurd dad that all my son's mates like, because when they see me i always start talking ridiculous bullshit that cracks them up laughing. i'v always been like that tho, smiling and joking right up to a certain point and then just stop and put my foot down. my favourite way that it's been described to me is that i'm like one of those padded clubs from the simpsons episode where they get family counselling and drain Springfield's power grid. that was a good line i gotta admit

lmao that's fucking beautiful and gives me a few ideas .....

lmao i usually just say "no doxxing" in the same way that brad pitt tell people not to talk about fight club - twice, the second time loud and forcefully with an expletive included for emphasis. it generally gets the message across, but your way works too

can we add "no doxxing / no personal information" to that list please? fanx

oh, i do, i'm using lemmy for modding and content posting and then browsing on kbin

[–] a_crappy_pirate@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (3 children)

yeh true. eg redditors are using lemmy to do stuff and kbin for surfing. at least i'm doing that simply because the feed loads up faster and has more content

there was an update from the admins of lemmy.nsfw where language barriers got in the way and the wrong impression was made, which was quickly addressed by the instance's other admin as well as edited by its' original author.

this got people in this instance concerned until the edit was made, however in two threads about it on kbin social the anime PFPs came out to play and the head admin of dataterm was obligated to comment as well

the funniest part is, it really demonstrates the truth of stereotypes about people with anime loli PFPs. at least a couple of the commenters in those threads are going to end up on watchlists.
