It's in the best interest of these publications to promote the Linux operating system. Windows and Mac OS X is hostile to the user, to the very idea of computing and freedom. They are unapologetically monopolistic in nature. They need to be stopped.

This is accurate information. I just used an old computer and took the battery out of it and used it as a server. Sure, the power goes out and it might corrupt, but you know, it's just for dumb shit.

Windows is a weapons contractor that is entangled in the domestic markets. Linux is not. Windows is spyware and anti consumer. It is time to at least be familar with Linux. Try it on a old laptop or something. Linux is free.
