I really have no idea what I've done to deserve you being this rude towards me. I am not a dude. I do not use the fediverse regularly. I made this post, then I checked on it a while later. I think this is fairly normal behavior for a site someone doesn't use regularly. I am sorry that I did not cite my source, but as my other comments have stated, I had no ill intentions and simply didn't name the website because I was worried it may attract undue attention to the site. For that I apologise. Meanwhile, all you have done is halfheartedly retract your pretty harsh statements after getting irrationally angry at a stranger online. I was just trying to ask about something she saw online relating to a project with a wiki here. I also tried to send you a PM about this but it either didn't work or you ignored it, hopefully the former.

I was a bit worried that that was an incorrect site, and a bit scared that I had made a serious mistake given the tone of your comment. However, I have taken a look at the dbzer0 guide on archive.org, and as you can see it links DIRECTLY to gen.paramore.su here:

"Then, read the "RECOMMENDED BROWSER SETUP FOR DOWNLOADING GENP" section to optimise your privacy, enhance your browsing experience, and block unwanted ads, trackers, and popups effectively.

DOWNLOADS / TOOLS NEEDED

๐Ÿ”— Creative Cloud (CC) - Adobe Download - Always use this one first as priority

๐Ÿ”— Creative Cloud (CC) - Adobe Alternative Download - Use if have issues with Adobe Download

๐Ÿ”— Creative Cloud (CC) - Backup Download - Only use if have issues with both Adobe Downloads above

๐Ÿ”— GenP v3.7.1 CGP - Latest Updated Version"

Fourth link goes to gen.paramore.su.

Archive link: https://web.archive.org/web/20260109232700/https://wiki.dbzer0.com/genp-guides/guide/#guide-2

To reiterate, I made this post simply to inform others and enquire as to whether the project had been discontinued as the text from the website seems to specify. I did this with no malice nor any premeditated goals other than simply seeking further information. I'm really not sure what prompted such a hostile response, as you can quite easily tell I do not use the fediverse much and as such I'm not sure why one would assume that I have come here to "[make] [things] the fuck up"

I'm sorry, I don't know how to reply to your comment directly and I have no account at dbzero, but I got this from literally the GenP website https://gen.paramore.su/

I did not want to link it directly for fear of bringing negative attention or attention from LE etc.

I would really appreciate it if you could not just assume I'm making this up or making this post in bad faith. I have zero reason to do so, I am simply someone that has used GenP in the past and went to download the newest version.

Has anyone else seen this? Do we know what this will mean for GenP going forwards? Apologies if this has been known about for a bit, I've only just seen the updated website.

by a state broadcasting org published by the state that held onto its colonial possessions until it was literally untenable without violence.

Nelson Mandela: "Choose peace rather than confrontation, except in cases where we cannot move forward. Then, if the only alternative is violence, we will use violence." (I feel like a boomer posting azquotes but people are going to keep erasing recorded history so I might as well try)

Yeah i sort of avoided the grime that was popular in the mid 2010s just because it was everywhere, I got into the older grime stuff I think partly cause i got turned on to 90s rap and rnb, so of grime i''ve heard mostly just the classics like ruff sqwad, wiley, kano, d double e, dizzee, etc., Love ukg and dance pop from around that early to mid 2000s time period too, cant go wrong there.

If I could only listen to one artist forever it might be Sade just cause they don't really have any bad tracks, they're so smooth, and the bass grooves are always sick. Also don't think they get enough credit either for changing their sound over the first 3 albums, i love diamond life and promise but her 90s/00s albums have aged better bc of that for sure

the people who try to force the burden of a species worth of impact onto individuals are always just running cover for corporations n conglomerates; give them time to build society's tolerance for bleakness and whatever industrial-scale crime they're doing and internalise guilt for it before coming back to win the pr war and make money in some other slightly less evil way

one of my favourite albums and contender for one of the most beautiful ever recorded, imo. Some further info on the cover, including a picture of them recreating the image for its 40th anniversary

listened to a bunch of Sade, Janet Jackson, and Vince Staples over the last couple days. I like UKG and some older grime too, Ruff Sqwad are one of my favs (former group of tinchy strider, did the instrumental that was used by stormzy for shut up much later)
