Supposedly, they are taking government funds for help (like refugees) and polluting the pureness of the culture.

In reality they are making locals even richer by taking shit jobs at low salary, and enriching the culture (like food!)

This. I have started to wonder if yawns are actually a way to wake up. We know little about them. Some brain scans showed that we refresh the blood around our brain, like changing the water in a fish bowl.

This is kinda off-topic to this community. I will lock the conversation, feel free to crosspost (if not done already) to the proper space (I know, the audience is shared between both, but still...)

https://alovoa.com/ has an app on f-droid, they probably need the users, hehe!

Thanks for sharing your story. Similarly, I've been with my partner for 10 years. We planned on having kids, never materialized because of reasons. Now... We are distancing. It certainly feel like failure. I just moved to a new apartment last week.

So far, I haven't 'duel' the loss, except for some occasional irruption of either sadness (~95%) or rage (~5%). We keep talking daily, trying to part ways softly, we are both migrants in a new country, medium sized city, which adds some peculiarities.

I think we try to avoid the sentiment of failure by keeping an open mind, and a friendship. I even fantasize this is only temporary. But honestly, we have been on this for a while. Like after the pandemic.

Anyway, some comments in this thread really help me. I do want her to be happy. We both deserve the best, and frankly we may not be the best fit today. But we were powerful. We went through a lot, and we did good.

PS. Feel free to write privately of you wanted to share more.

Leave that network behind. It's the fox news of social networks, with bots instead of the elite opinionators ;p it will only rot your brain. Come, let's remember we are humans

OpenCamera is good, but could do better. But I'd say video editing is the biggest void.

Also, gesture typing keyboards are an empty niche of foss alternatives. HelioBoard requires loading some proprietary blob unfortunately.

I guess the most heavy machine learning use cases are not filled in.

what's the point on this post? I feel like I might be missing something.. The text looks generated, is that the joke?

If your dissatisfaction is rooted on your current job, try looking into the market. Maybe it's a good time to jump to another ship.

As for hobbies, I agreed with everyone. Try activities away from the keyboard, it would probable be the most healthy for both body and mind (and they correlate)

Installation on phone from F-droid (Syncthing-fork) gives a 1-way share of your Camera to backup to PC whenever you get back home. That's my top usecase... Together with syncing KeePass database since long ago too.

+1 to Mullvad. I only switched to NordVPN because I wanted to use an IP address from a country they have servers on.
