Linux is a prime example of quality that isn’t paid for. No one forces you to pay for Linux, you can of course support the maintainers and donate, but it’s not a for-profit endeavor.

Agriculture ranks low on total emissions, but potentially higher on PM2.5 emissions.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree that it’s overreach for the government to collect and distribute people’s data like that. I’m just not sure the law, in its wording, actually provisions the protection you are hoping it does.

I think this is an easy way out of doing anything. I don’t think that’s entirely accurate, and it’s probably the reasoning that has made cars so ubiquitous across many countries. Cars can still have their uses, but depending on them for everything is excessive and harmful for our communities.

This is reassuring, I’ve been debating installing Ubuntu’s phone OS on my old Sony Xperia. It’s great that it’s not a complete bust to have a nice FOSS OS on phones. Mozilla just didn’t have the resources or wherewithal to follow through with Firefox OS and that’s just how it goes.

Still got a ways to go before AI can get singing down right, it scares me that we’re getting to that point. As a musician, one of the values of one’s voice is that once you are gone it can only be imitated. If AI can replicate everything accurately, anyone could do anything with your voice long after you have any say. Your music is no longer your own.
