The links to the other posts show up below in a cross-posted to section so you can still access it if you want. The limitation on it needing to be the same page comes from this handling happening on the frontend instead of the backend. Ideally imo backend should handle it like how it handles the cross-posts displayed when looking at the post itself

Oh huh I didnt even realize you could pan like that, guess one of those has to be removed and moved to something else unless its detected between hold and tap
Yeah this is more for the new instance that will be started up that will have the potential to interact with it a lot more. Want to keep federation the same across all our instances
Blocking doesn't help if they just make new accounts each time
And yes there was a lot for awhile and now there's also spam on images from the mastodon side that's been coming in
It's only image posts and its not all posts with a picture, just if the user has basically no posts
Turns out to be something specific to a certain instance and how they configured things so were updating today or close to today now
Update: something major possibly broke. Were waiting a bit longer and possibly until 0.19.4 if its bad enough
ill check it out and try to fix it
Yeah, if that's causing the issue you might be running into a case where when trying to make the image smaller it ends up not having enough pixels to show the border properly. Typically people make textures the size of what they want the final texture size to be rather than messing with proportions afterwards due to things like that (and so you don't have to store larger images than required)
Dont have access to those stats in the database so adding on voting is the best I can do
Theres a post read table but its only people who have explicitly marked something as read and is way less than the post likes
Yeah I just edited the post to do a quick example
Just means that instead of the usual blue purple gradient communities all have their own color scheme to separate them from each other
ex. the godot icon may have the godot colors, functional programming will have an orange gradient, etc.
sure
