if they come after lemmy i bet it would be on instance admins of instances promoting anticapitalism and hating on Trump, and the devs, or just go after ActivityPub devs and force github/gitlab to remove all related repos, not so far fetched to happen considering the list of United States government online resource removals under the second Trump administration and now this

im not saying theres no risk but they are going after the infrastructure not people using it (which they use as excuse), it looks like setting stage for weaponizing this law when elections come and people organize peaceful protests against the government

Epstein ring communicated a lot through Gmail for years and they still never went after those involved nor Google
