So if it hasn't happened, what proof do you have that it will? Why bring it up if it hasn't happened, and there is no proof that it will happen?

Without it, certain states can and will say “well this rural town doesn’t really need kids to go to school, they can become factory workers instead.”

I think he's doing awesome. Closing down the dept of education isn't going to magically and suddenly make kids ignorant. You realize that he's not closing schools, right?
