Put up exterior shades on the south side of your home or at least outside your windows. It keeps the direct heat from the sun from baking your walls and windows, and you on the other side. Yeah boy, window awnings and sun shades are in.

Probably the only difference is that the Chinese companies don't share their data (as readily or at all) with the Canadian government.

Overall consumer demand is drying up as people are getting squeezed from small wage gains and huge inflation. Low demand for goods and incessant demand for "stakeholder value" means cuts have to come. If they're not in quality, it's in overhead (staff) - or both.

And now bosses have excuses for cuts to both back-office and production staff - "automation" and "AI" respectively.

And this is why "nearshore" offshoring exists. Business take advantage of timezone-adjacent remote staff but with dramatically lower wages.

Problem is that right now he's just talking. The states will have to wait for him to actually cause harm to prosecute him. Then the election will already be in chaos..
