Maybe slightly related, but does anyone know any good codec (beside FLAC) for ultrasonic recording?

Aye, that's a fair assumption

*Rant for the beginning of the article ahead

Why in the name of god did they try to bring LLM to the pictures. Saying AI/ML is good enough for predictive maintenance tasks, but noooo, it has to be LLM. If they want to be specific then don't be misleading, I think what they mean is the attention layer/operation commonly used in LLM to capture time series data. I understand that the Recurrent style neural network and LSTM has its limitations. And I agree that exploring attention to be used in time series data is an interesting research but LLM? Just no.

You're not wrong. IIRC they already planned to stop or layoff their Dart developer in favour of Golang (also a language by Google)

See also portal reloaded for new portal concept in time (like that one level from titanfall 2)

Maybe depending on how far you take it. A CPU instruction is different from hardware to hardware, but a function signature would stay the same no matter the underlying architecture. If we want to go through that logic then an interpreter can be thought of as a form of emulator.

The problem is the business models revolve around the software. You cannot directly compare them without also comparing the complexity and manpower required to achieve it. Just take a look at W3C spec and you'll see just how many cases there are to handle when making a browser. Not to mention making it secure and performant. Also, if you want to support web push technology on your browser you also need to have infrastructure to maintain. A donation may work but you'll have to be content with slow development since the resources can be uncertain.

As I said, a digit is a symbol. Much like how we use letters to compose words, digits are used to construct numbers. When you start to repeat or reuse the symbol then it is no longer a singular symbol (what regex \d does). Hence my comments on why arabic script are one of the understandable debates since i18n is a valid concern as much as a11y is.

While I get the sentiment, I can't help but picture the complaining customer "I PAY your wages" from that statement.

Damn, reading this from a CS POV really puts into perspective how efficient our brain is.

Man, what a shame about the purge before. But then again, many heads take its place (via many repo) so I guess it's a win.
