I do understand what are you saying. My fucks come from the fact that they, not all but the absolute majority of them, actively pulled that fucking ladder up and made every generation after them bear the horrible fruits of their decisions. They can fuck off. If I don't have to speak to them ever again (because they can never be wrong, either way), I am very content with such outcome.

While true.. a more than fairly large amount of people do care about skin color. For example, 77 million (some 30-40% of voting age) people in US care more about what color someone else's skin is, then their own well being. In my country, Sweden, that percent is about 20. So no, I'd say a great deal of people do care about such idiotic things as skin color.

There are so many options, but since I assume it would be your first linux, I'd start with something that just works at once and does everything you say you need in your comment. Zorin OS will just work at once (I might not prefer this dist myself, but I'm 20 years in the linux game.. this is a distro that just works really well for first timers, and it's a good distro).

1. Download the free Zorin OS Core version (it's the full OS with no limitations).
2. Download Etcher.
3. Put a USB drive (min 4GB) in your computer, start Etcher and select the Zorin OS file (image) you downloaded and select the USB you put in your computer, press "Flash!". Wait for it to finish.
4. Restart computer and boot from the USB drive (usually, right after your computer restarts, you press F9 repeatedly)
5. Fallow instructions and when done installing, restart and; you're free from Windows!
6. Enjoy!

Too much money and power is on line for the ruling class, be it republicans or democrats, to ever release all the files, whatever the law says (law isn't a thing for those with money and power in US). And the ruling class know that The People will never oppose in a meaningful way, a way that will shift the load of command over to the people. No one outside of the ruling class will ever see the full, unredacted trump/epstein files.

Yeah, in US it's an everyday happening. Not in countries that doesn't have a pedophile as president, but in US it is completely normal.
