Cars aren't good at going slow. They need a "chill mode" setting where light pressure on the accelerator for 2 seconds doesn't move you from 20-30mph before you realize it. I like going the speed limit and have a hard time only going 20 on some roads because it's just so dang easy to accidentally bump up to 30mph. Automatic transmission problems

doing a bang up job, fellow workers stalin-approval

"This Perfect Day" by Ira Levin was good enough when I read it 15+ years ago.

"The Dispossessed" by Ursula Le Guin does a lot of world building (in short, anarchist separatists fled Earth to terraform the moon to be barely hospitable) and a fun glimpse into a would-be anarchist society

Good for him. It would be even cooler if pretty much every school meal wasn't provided by the same company that supplies prisons but shrug-outta-hecks

Also Portland but the werewolf is homeless

Do these become jury trials? In the near future, I could see jury nullification of these cases the same way abolitionists did it 200 years ago.

porky-happy Judge: "You stand accused of helping a slave escape, here is irrefutable proof."

douglass-vibing Jury: "We find the defendant NOT GUILTY" troll
