Personally I'm pretty tired of Star wars, every entertainment product doesn't need to belong to a Disney franchise

I've gone back to reddit a few times from searches, and after spending time away it is really apparent how negative most of the comments over there are.

For example, anytime someone asks for help, someone always has to show up and get angry that they didn't search instead of asking. Then a third person shows up and says that a search brought them to this thread.. and no one ever answers the question. Thanks reddit!

Fox and Roku, everyone's two favourite small companies!

Im glad I never eat out due to dietary restrictions. Why does ordering more expensive food entitle a server to more money for doing the same amount of work?

I assume I'm probably just too poor to understand.

In IT, all the worst patients are doctors.

Hopefully no actual doctors answer this question though 🙂

I recently commented about how much I hate Adobe for their horrible subscription tactics, and the fact that the Canadian government REQUIRES you to use Adobe reader to sign PDFs in order to immigrate to canada.

The last time I complained to them, they offered me a free extended trial in order to make things right. I tried to cancel the free trial on July 10th, and was informed that it would cost $100 to cancel my contract.

I don't have enough money to hire lawyers, but I am 100% sure what they did was illegal. I have a severe mental health disorder, which resulted in me trying to kill myself after being literally fucking raped by a company. July 10th is also my birthday, which was fucking great. I fucking LOVE me a good corporation, they bring so much joy to the world.

Sorry for the TMI, I fucking hate this company.

This seems like an attempt to do damage control - I'd assume Jack Black and Kyle Gass have extremely similar views on trump. Also, they do comedy - saying outrageous shit is kind of the name of the game.

Fuck Jack Black, why can't we have one good person. Stand by your lifelong friend.

I was feeling bad for his ex right up until this gem:

”Then he took me to a bookstore and handed me his credit card. "Buy as many books as you want," he said. No man could have said anything sweeter.”

Like others here, facebook took over the market ..market in my area as well.

However, I think we can all agree Craigslist really died the second they removed the casual encounters section.

I needed a cheap laptop for audio, so i decided to pick up a second hand m1 air a couple months ago.

It is honestly pretty impressive for the price, I generally don't have issues either. Everything is snappy, and it handles multitasking fine. Its even faster than my $2000+ PC at several things, which frustrates me greatly.

However... When running ableton live (or presumably anything that involves heavy image, video, or audio editing), 8gb of ram is honestly not enough. If you push it too hard, it hangs for a second, then the offending app will just close.

Also there is a weird delay in factorio, absolutely unacceptable.
