Dude, I never implied that people use the word communist when they mean socialist. As I said, gtfo. Which I actually can't say, as .world mods have a hard on with their civility rule. You keep yapping and yet, yourself did not once engage with anything I said. You argued a strawman to derail. Get a hobby.

No need to be all butthurt. It's always an option to accept not to know everything.

Sorry to say, but: told you so.

Soviet Union, Socialism, and Western Imperialism from the great and late scholar and lecturer Michael Parenti (not a Tankie).

Interesting derailment yap. You started the crap-talk and mixed in some insults, now I'd kindly suggest you to fo.

Is Red Scare a thing or not?
Does Trump invoke an enemy stereotype or not?

What's straight up delusional and I'd therefore highly contest, is the idea, that everyday Americans (or Western Europeans for that matter) think of "aspirational communism under a vanguard socialist state", when their responses are impulsive and dehumanizing, and write stuff like "communist rat bastards". Which is a kneejerk, indoctrinated reaction by their own admission. Mixed with obviously wrong concepts on what Communism or Socialism even are. Which is also the reason it's so easy to rile up people against opposition. You just bad mouth them as communist. I really don't give a shit, how stuff is understood in your post-soviet country, as it has no bearing in regards to the US.

And as I don't think you really are delusional, I'm certain you're just bad faithing. Get off my back with your fantasies.

Okay, cool. You also realize that war is an ultima ratio, right? You surely also agree, that history didn't start on 24 February 2022 or February 2014. Man this feels like "history didn't start on Oct 7th" all over again. Do you also agree, that the US and the EU did have geopolitical agendas and plans long before the Krim was annexed and do you also agree, that these plans where worked at and pushed for in the real world? And could these plans involve forcing Russia into a situation where they either have NATO military on their main border towards Western Europe or act to protect their sphere of influence?

Or – do you want to tell me, that US/EU only started acting after Russia involved itself physically in Ukraine?

I hope you get lots of upvotes!

Oh rly? Which communists put fascist dictators in charge? Please, enlighten me.

First off, noone aquitted Russia of their guilt, so stfu with this leap of logic. Second, stop being so whiney, NATO isn't your Daddy.

Sorry, what was the actual point you want me to address to not be as obnoxious as you, since you could address it yourself? Obviously I'm replying to a specific aspect of the user's commentary, which was dehumanizing in nature.

You're saying that Cuba, DPRK, China are not also recried as Commies? Wonder who's being pedantic for whatever reason.

Also, Communism and Communists are real things, not solely academic concepts. Reducing it as such is a questionable approach. Why should we adhere to the propaganda of the US to redefine what words mean?

For @LeoDalPozzo@infosec.pub, as Wildmimic doesn’t even see me, so blind he is.

As I said, even if you go out of your way and now start to provide sources, after this guy spewed all the indoctrinated bullshit about this war without providing any themself, it‘s more likely you will get more excuses, more downvotes and more bad faith answers.

There are analysts, not necessarily communist, that still try to understand the dynamics of international geopolitics, that will say, that this is a proxy war fought between NATO and Russia (and China), you‘ll need to zoom out and leave the pure militarist perspective.
Btw, one of the triggers is actually calling it a proxy war, but since this guy blocked the whole instance my account is on, he‘ll be spared.
Dunno, there‘s John Mearsheimer, Jeffrey Sachs, German Foreign Policy, Neutrality studies, Breakthrough News, maybe Novara News. Either way, you’ll have a hard time finding reliably consistent analysis on mainstream media.
But IMO, you will get a better understanding of these conflicts and what‘s up with the people around here, if you open up towards Historical Materialism, which is the Marxist scientific approach to economy and class analysis.
