No problem! Actually, System76 is currently working on rewriting the COSMIC desktop in Rust (or really, just writing a new DE in Rust). It’s a pretty ambitious project that should hopefully get released some time this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the lead redox dev was working on it too: low-level Rust knowledge is exactly what they need.

I honestly preferred Kdenlive over Davinci Resolve, I had too many problems with it (although tbf, I am running Linux, so…)

Tried it. Personally, didn’t really work for me. Blender is great 3D software, but video editing is not its forte. (And that’s fine! Do one thing and do it well.)

This is the way! Small commits with descriptive commit names, then just fixup into a few feature commits. Makes rebase a breeze.

Suggested method is to "install" the app: go to Settings, there's an option to install the app as a PWA there.

To add on, every single package is manually defined and set in the PATH inside the derivation (which is what packages software in Nix).

Maybe just store the template in a file, read it, and format with the strfmt library?
