This might be a bit niche, but does anyone have some good resources on creating or setting up solar powered systems? Not as in for the house (hopefully in the future though!) Moreso just smaller projects so I can learn the ins and outs of it. I'd like to get involved in this space, but don't really have any experience in it.

Haha yeah I have a feeling the free shipping won't last forever. I do notice they consolidate everything into one parcel vs Aliexpress' way of sending from different suppliers. They're owned by Pinduoduo as far as I can tell.

Any reason why they chose Temu over Aliexpress? Just because they don't like Jack Ma or something?

I've been ordering some stuff from Temu and their shipping has actually been fast and free. Usually a week or sometimes two to be delivered. Everytime I look at Aliexpress lately, it says fast shipping then the estimated delivery date is like a month and a half out. Ali definitely has a larger range of items though.

Rise of Nations.. now that's a game I've not thought of in a long time. I distinctly remember using cheats and dropping nukes everywhere.

Good advice. I've just been lazy and they credited me a free static IP when they switched to CGNAT, so can't be bothered updating everything

A shame, more competition is always better for us. Quite a few of them now under 2degrees/Vocus group. I've been with 2degrees for long time, but haven't had any cause to change yet.

I thought about this recently too and ended up getting a dehumidifier instead as I figured it has more uses than just a dryer. In Winter we usually end up putting the clothes in front of the heatpump. I find running the dehumidifier in laundry mode beside the clothes for a few hours at night, makes them dry by the morning. Bonus is we can dehumidify our bed rooms when we don't have laundry to dry. We did pay $600+ for the dehumidifier though, just something to consider.

Dehumidifier's been working overtime the last week, so have managed to get things dry inside in a reasonable time

So potentially a dryer Spring and Summer this year? I enjoyed not having water restrictions last year, but I'm really over the rain now

I was about to take the clothes out on the airer and a bloody rain cloud was just blowing in on the horizon! At least the winds will get it on its way soon hopefully.

Thanks, I've already signed up and looking forward to it!

The wind's not helping either!
