Only sometimes. I've seen the mute button be disabled on numerous machines. Worth knowing and trying when the screen is blaring ads at you, but my success rate has been low in muting them.

While I agree with you, its that very misunderstanding that bosses and owners have, and they'll fire regular folks and replace with ai. They may suffer lower quality and even catastrophic failures but it will take time for them to realise and rehire people. All those regular folks will be out of work during that time.

Steam is a good platform, but if this strategy works and it kills off kernel level anticheat and gets more Linux support, those would be next level contributions to gaming.

You can't fix stupid. You can argue plugin hybrids are bad on the pragmatic argument that people don't charge them and that's fair, but to say they are the worst is just wrong. The have the potential to be the best.

I second Voyager. Has a pwa and fdroid options, works very well and is gaining customizations all the time.

Really like eternity, but I don't have the time or skills to help develop it.

Can you elaborate on that? I haven't used it, but just assume if you host it on your own domain you can have it play nicely with csp, there are docs in their site about it. Where did it fall short for your use case?

I believe that there is an extension for Firefox pwa support, but the Android version definitely supports pwas natively.
