Vi har købt en bil. Der er lidt levering, så vi har den ikke endnu, men den er købt! Vi var ude at se på forskellige modeller. Fra starten syntes jeg at cupra tavascan var mest interessant, mens min kone (der på det tidspunkt ikke syntes noget) bare ville have en praktisk bil. Vi prøvede alligevel cupraen, og jeg tænkte, at i det mindste får jeg prøvet den. Vi har også prøvet en VW id.4, Skoda Enyaq, KIA ev6 og (fordi man kan få en brugt til samme pris som en ny de andre) en Polestar 4.

På en eller anden måde har vi igennem hele processen været rørende enige om at Cupra Tavascan er den mest interessante - også selvom, eller måske fordi, den ligner et, og jeg citerer her danske ~~attention whores~~ youtubere: "Et diskotek", "Et sted man tager en stribe coke", "Et hus i Thailand hvor man kan hyre en ladyboy".

Så nu venter vi utålmodigt på at vi om et par måneder får vores... (tjekker noter)... Stripperbule.

Not sure if it counts, but I took my daughter to see Shen Yun last week. It's a pretty show and all, but multiple acts had super heavy handed religious elements, which were pretty off putting. One song was about how you should keep to the traditional values and the worst things in the world are atheists and the theory of evolution. Big applause. Can't really recommend, despite the nice costumes and dances.

Same, fizzbuzz was one of our tests. Nearly everyone messed it up. The telling part was how. We had a guy with 20 years of experience who demanded ample compensation write code that not only didn't compile, but it made little sense. A lot of people were pretty good bullshitters - then after the test they went "Yeah, well... That went bad huh?". We had a different, more difficult test that people could choose. We had one guy who did somewhat poorly on that... But asked to take the assignment home for his own sake. He was a very god hire. Not because he worked overtime or anything but because he cared.
