Can confirm, just switched to lineageos on a Nord 4, heaps better. The stock os even stutters when opening the app drawer after the android 16 update, lineage doesn't.

I'm just glad the fallback preset setting finally exists. Means I can tune my laptop speakers but default to a "clean" empty preset for any other device. Dev said that the feature wasn't gonna happen until the Qt version was the main version. Under the GTK version I had to manually add an entry for every new audio device

Seconded, but since they're coming from windows, just do the normal bazzite non-deck, as that uses KDE plasma which is a lot more similar to the modern windows shell
