You mean Stalinists call themselves ML? For what reason?

The American revolution was historically progressive. It led to the French and Haitian revolutions as well. I don't think we have to single out specific figures, although Thomas Paine was on the radical edge. Jefferson was also a radical who supported the French revolution and yet he owned slaves. By now, capitalism has outlived it's historical usefulness.

What are you trying to say? I think Lenin had useful insights and strategies, but Marxism is a bit broader.

Real Marxists know Marx didn't morally condemn the rich. He wanted the workers to take hold of the productive forces created under capitalism and organize it under a rational basis.

No it's not. They're not trying to build a third party or engage in electoral reform.

Maybe, people also didn't want a neolib candidate who had no populist appeal. She didn't acknowledge legitimate grievances of the voters. The Democrat party should've held primaries, but they just put Harris in at the end. There's many factors beyond sexism.

[–] henry1917@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago

There is none. Bernie has passed the torch to AOC whose politics are subordinate to the democrats.

Pick a major you like and you'll never work a day in your life. You'll be unemployed.

Honestly, karma is just for getting started on reddit. Certain subreddits, require your account to exist and have a certain amount of karma to "validate" it. I don't think people care about getting karma beyond that point.

Left doesn't mean the democrats.
