I see you from the Beehaw lemmy instance!

Beehaw actually federates with lemmy.ml, but blocks federation with lemmygrad. In fact I believe that is the only instance that is blocked on Beehaw.

Thanks for the visual example. I was also looking for this functionality and was about to ask, but I just figured it out.

For anyone confused, you tap and hold down on the top part of a comment next to the commenter's name and it should collapse that chain.

Personally I would prefer just tapping on the colored lines on the left side, at least that's what I'm used to.

I never thought about it that way, but yeah it feels like we're in the future 🤯

I've been looking for something like this. Looks like I have some reading to do.

There have been some nice sales on the Arc cards. I'm considering picking one up for its AV1 capabilities.

As someone who's mained Debian for last year or two, this is all solid information 👍

It sort of reminds me of the Digg exodus. Reddit was a much smaller site than Digg yet there were many instances of Digg users reposting things from Reddit since the community had quality content despite it's small size. The Digg redesign only accelerated the migration.

Wow that's so cool. I think I installed Peppermint on an old netbook I had laying around. It felt much snappier than when it was running Windows 7 at the time

This is way I do it. One thing to note is having a decently good motherboard with support for many IOMMU groups will make the proces of passing through the GPU and other devices much smoother. I lucked out and found out about this method while I was planning to upgrade my PC build.
