Not saying you’re not correct but I keep hearing, what I take to be at least slight overstatements, of how much environmental impact is caused by agentic ai but is there some good source where I can red up on exactly how much? While ”Plastic nic nacs that flood our oceans and landfills, times a million” is surely a good ballpark I’d like to narrow it down a bit

I remembered I never finished Braid last week and played it - perfect on steam deck!

Verkligen synd! Har cykelpendlat genom det området i ca 10 år och är oftast bedrövligt kring Brunkebergstorg. Behövs mer infrastruktur för människor!

I guess, given the already open nature of the Fediverse, my takeaway from this thread is that op is using their freedom to say they don’t like this particular style of moderation. Which might be useful, or not, for some moderators

I have lived in Sweden my entire life and this, to me, sounds like just part of the picture. The public healthcare system is far from perfect and it can definitely be frustrating (and surely, in some cases, even a health risk) to wait for specialist care. However, my personal experience is that when really serious stuff happens this system works. My dad fell down from the roof of their house a couple of years ago and was unconscious when I found him (he’s alright - just a dummy not having any safety equipment). We were picked up by ambulance and in the ER not 15 minutes from my call.

That said, I’m 100% for a larger welfare sector. Lessen the vårdköer and offer arbetstidsförkortning for hospital staff

Even though this is a clear illustration of the level of maturity of these developments in European politics, I think it’s positive that the ideas exist outside just (parts of) the tech community

Wouldn’t the proper follow up have been: ”and so did 1/3 of Europe”?

I was advised to try getting hold of a good screen (there’s some ”level of reflectiveness” measurement if I remember correctly) to project on. Then even a moderately bright projector will do
