Loonix is actually terrible at shutting down because something will always break while you try to do so.

And Loonix is not good at opening terminal emulators. Windows may have few, but the ones it does have are easy to open a GOATed.

I usually try to stay away from FOSStard slop like Loonix. Windows is far better because it has an actual company backing it and improving it, whereas Loonix powered by copium and skill issue.

Why would you ruin your MacBook with Loonix or Windows.

Now I obviously understand that if you too broke to buy a mac, then use FreeBSD, or WSL at the very least.

But if you can afford a mac (and you need an iPhone too for the full experience otherwise it's just an expensive laptop) use macOS.

You get the best iof POSIX and docker (for web dev) and the web dev experience isn't half-assed like loonix.

Also you get an OS that can actually be used outside of web development (e.g. Microsoft Word)

If you use loonix on the device, you loose all the performance gains and optimizations that macOS provides to the hardware.
