When it blows up (very rare if handled correctly) then there'll be a lot of chemicals in the air. Still something to think about for people with no garage and no shed.

This almost puts me off buying one. What do I do? I live in a boarding house. Should I charge it in the bathroom and just seal under the door with a sausage pillow thingy, so the toxic vapours don't go into my bedroom and kill me?

Maybe if I just charge it when I'm there and awake, it should be safe. Maybe the user in this story charged a battery when it was frozen cold, causing it to blow up.

I just talked to John Minto on the phone.

Every so often a psychopath kills someone for revenge and hides the body out-of-town and the police find it, and arrest the killer. Really nothing surprising here. Whoever did this crime is the same as Brenton Tarrant or the guy who killed Grace Millane. These people are psychopaths, reprobates, sons of bitches. They'll show no remorse in court and if they're not arrested promptly, they will kill again.

Some men might be angry and volatile after a divorce, but people rarely resort to murder, even when angered, because their natural impulse is to be disgusted by the act of killing another person. It really takes a sick psycho to do something like this and rationalise it. Just another cold psychopath out for revenge. I wonder if he was the charming talkative psycho like Hitler or Churchill or Ted Bundy, or if he was quiet and scheming, like Pol Pot or Brenton Tarrant.
