We've got a town in NZ called Rangiora, but it's pretty ubiquitously known as "Goon" to locals.

My theory is "Rangiora" -> "Rangoon" -> "Goon".

We also call the inner bag removed from boxed wine a "goon sack", though that one is borrowed from the Aussies.

As mentioned in another comment, I don't think it's delayed, unless you want an assembled one. They've sold the first batch of upgrade kits, shipping September, with more upgrade kits coming soon and full Core One+ with INDX coming later (as kits and assembled).

If you're itching and want to learn more before getting into toolchangers, the Core One (and One+) announced today are a great place to start, and can be upgraded in the future as newer models release.

Not delayed AFAIK - just not with "hardened" steel nozzles. They currently have nozzles that are steel and hardened, but not hardened to the level of printing carbon fiber, glass fiber, glow in the dark and other filled materials. ~20HRC vs ~50HRC, where standard brass are ~5HRC.

Personally I'm not doing multicolour and multimaterial with filled materials so not a big deal to me, but it'd be nice to have the option I suppose.

I received my INDX dev kit a few days ago, and I'm currently working through the installation on a Voron 2.4. It's been a lot of fun so far, hopefully using it goes as well. Can't speak for the Prusa side of course but knowing them they have better documentation and support.

Pixel 6 Pro gang, though mine is finally on its way out. Can't receive calls occasionally and a column of dead pixels. My partner has been requesting me to get a new phone for quite a while now. GrapheneOS btw.

Weight distribution is more important - many put a battery pack on the back headrest to offset the weight of the main body. Makes it a lot more comfortable for longer sessions or fast movement.

That's pretty standard 😅 they've been working on an Adobe video, the first 1.5hrs is up on Patreon. Maybe end of next year?

Injected ads in RSS podcasts are common too - they'll look at the IP address and serve a location-specific episode.

Not certain, but I'm guessing it's something to do with how archive.org archives. I'd say it probably captured some JavaScript which uses window.location.host, which would resolve to the original (say lemmy.nz) on the original page but web.archive.org on the snapshot.
