I honestly don't think there is a replacement for Google Maps, I use Organic Maps from time to time but it is more difficult to use, rarely can I just input the name of a business and it finds it.

I suppose using it like a directory for restaurants and attractions could be done through the browser without an account but it is hard to deny Google Maps is a fantastic resource and hard to replace.

Yeah I think I need to practice in a car park I have just been practicing on a quiet street but every time it feels like I am going to tip over or not make the turn.

When I do make it I never feel like I did from skill more from luck.

I've been looking at getting an intercom system, probably looking at a Cardo Spirit but I know Scorpion have the ExoCom that is designed to work with their helmets (I have a Scorpion helmet). However I think I prefer the Cardo so that I have something that is helmet agnostic and should work with any helmet I get in the future.

The rest of my gear is pretty entry level, I've only been riding since September 2024 so I haven't felt the need to upgrade my gear, first thing is to upgrade the bike once I get my full licence

I was using Feedly but I deleted my account and when I created a new one they only allow 3 folders on the free tier so I started to use NewsBlur instead been pretty happy with it. It's nice it can pull the whole text of the article so you don't have to go to another site to read the full text.
