I use both on different computers:
Gnome has auto-rotation out of the box so it goes into the tablet.
KDE has better extensions and wobbly windows so I can make it ~~cursed~~ whimsical enough to my liking

You don't need a video. You need marketing & communication 101. During covid I am sure some professors uploaded lectures to youtube, or pick up the book if it's more your jam. Think about what you want to communicate to a person coming across your project for the first time. Make bullet points and rank them. Then begin writing including all the information in that order.

A good readme would be sufficient. Go to some popular project and copy their structure of its readme in your project.

tested default.clock.rate with 44100 and 48000 it still crackles,

#default.clock.allowed-rates is commented out

closing easyeffects helped with VLC, but it still crackles occasionally in MPV and frequently in spotify

journalctl has no messages generated when crackling.

when running stress-ng --timeout 30s --cpu 12 it still happens so it's not RAM issue

Depending what you mean by issue. You can disable it easly.

"simply pasting the text into Google Translate" oftentimes is done as cost saving with just an editing pass. From few articles I have read it comes out "good enough"

bigger problem would be if architecture provides a way to swap string to another language or is it hardcoded.

yeah, I tested most of the software, and still use Mastodon and Wafrn. I use mastodon to follow a hashtag, but it didn't deliver what it promised. Few major tech youtubers bounced back from it due extreme toxicity.

Wafrn is super wacky software. You can play doom and bite people. It has rage-bait driven development* and connects to bluesky and fediverse at the same time without a bridge.

Bookwyrm and Piefed didn't deliver what I would want from their respective domains.

*allegedly
