Sure but new versions are released pretty often, which essentially means they can change their license whenever they want.

Yeah, it's definitely a very unique approach I haven't seen before. I've been using the "honeypot" method for years, which has been working surprisingly well.

I appreciate improving the UI, but why all the frameworks? Building simple static pages using the native web platform would give you a super fast site without all the cruft. Using Rust in place of JavaScript? This just sounds like we're trading a "frankenstein’s monster" with something that will eventually end up being another version of it.

I chose an instance with software engineers. Not only because I'm a software engineer myself but also because we have admins that can probably fix any issues with the instance quickly. But I can't confirm whether thats true or not. Just my thought.
