So the world health organization is trying to figure out the optimal ratio of animal products to plant products in the diet.

I can save them a lot of time. The optimal ratio of animal products is 0%, to 100% plant products. Of course, you really should supplement vitamin B12 and a few other things. But there's no doubt about what the optimal ratio of animal to plant products in your diet is.

So the mice in this study were fed plastic. It wound up all throughout their bodies, not just in the gut. It affected multiple organs in multiple ways.

A mouse only lives 2-3 years. Human beings eat micro plastics every day in our food supply. The plastic should be able to accumulate in our bodies for a much longer time.

Other research indicates that the rate of aging is not fixed, but can vary. There are promising early studies on turning the aging clock backwards. Obviously that would be a game changer, and it would change this supposed aging "limit".

That's true, but the photo shows cream or milk being mixed in with the berries and grains. Research shows that adding dairy or bananas blunts the beneficial properties of the berries.

Getting fiber from whole plant foods, grains and legumes, vegetables and fruits is going to produce an overall better result. Getting a diversity of fibers from a variety of different plant species will result in microbiome diversity, which has numerous health benefits.

That is going to be a very strong cup of coffee. A ristretto is a triple shot! I used to get macchiato ristretto in an even smaller cup and it was yum yum buzz buzz.

Water quality is an under appreciated factor in making great coffee. If your water has a taste, then your coffee will be affected.

The terminology can be fun to learn, and it may give you worlds to describe what you're experiencing. But it's over rated. It's a great way to impress other people. But those people aren't the ones enjoying your cup of coffee. Only you can do that.

What works for me is to develop a consistent process for making coffee and try changing one thing at a time. Use a little more coffee, then a little less. Vary the water temperature. Try different coffees, different grinds, different roasts. Take your own personal enjoyment more seriously than what other people think. Experts are worth listening to, but your personal experience matters more because you're the one drinking your cup.

Some people have a sensitive palate and notice tiny changes, others don't. PersonallyI have a tiny little 1/64 teaspoon that's used in cheese making. I like to experiment by adding a tiny amount of various spices to my coffee.

This is shocking because syphilis is treated with penicillin. I'm not an expert, but I've read that doxycycline can be used in non-pregnant patients. The injectable form of penicillin is required for pregnant patients like the woman in the story. And that's the one that's in short supply.
