Shoot I didn't mean to start any shit with ada. I didn't have time for a whole write up this morning the scribbled image was all I had time to do during my commute. I think it's coming off as a lot dickier than I meant to

Could you link me some examples of this? I haven't been moderating these past couple days, as I've been very busy. These are heavy accusations, as I greatly value the right to discussion so if you can link me to some examples I would be more than happy to restore them and have a stern talking to with my moderators.

I've held community polls and discussions for every major decision or event in this community. I figured that this was a major enough event that the public should be brought in to the discussion.
This isn't zoomer whatever the fuck this is me sticking to the way the community has operated for the past 3 months.

Now personally I think we have the word takie pretty well defined in our rules and have no intention of changing it. Fuck tankies, they don't belong here.
I didn't write fuck commies, or fuck libtards, (I am a vocal socialist and very far left) or anything like that, the banner is specifically about pro-auth dictator-worshipping tankies.

My team is on it, and I will personally pitch in in dealing with it once auditions are over for the thing I'm working on

We're continuing on as normal

It's a solid 7.5/10 but the comic is 8.5/10

Nono That's what I'm saying we would be unaffected by their downtime as it would be a completely separate instance.

They’re paying for Amazon web services instead of using more professional hosting alternatives, and things are nowhere near as optimized as lemmy.world. also I’m pretty sure that ruud has dedicated hardware for lemmy.world, whereas this is being done entirely off the cloud. in addition to all of that, they're hosting a mastodon instance on the same website and the costs are for both
