At one point, they'll be so deep in vibe code no human would be able to rescue Windows. And it doesn't seem too far.

SMS authentication is bad and everyone knows that, on the other hand when they try to remove it they also push their shitty apps instead of using a unified and open authenticator like Aegis. If I don't use a smartphone how they like or don't use one at all, they lock me out. It's already a fricking dystopia.

Don't know the architecture of 3DS but I remember someone put Debian on a Kindle, so that's universal enough to me. :)

Well, for Tor Browser even AUR isn't recommended. Just download it from official website and put it under somewhere like ~/.local/opt.

While people don't want to move onto Windows 11, I recently saw a fricking Vista on a local office supply store.

Nice list, though I would remove Manjaro from that. Manjaro is far from stable, they just delay Arch packages without even testing and it will bork itself in no time or will cause some problems at least.

Anyway, I see you have included Fedora based, so I would like to suggest OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I installed it on my sister's PC and she's been happily using it for some time now. Previously she borked Manjaro and brake updates on Pop OS just by using the system via GUI. That didn't happen on Tumbleweed yet and I don't think it will. Even if something would happen, she can revert everything by selecting a recovery image from GRUB and continue using it.

Cloud is a plague.

With this, now Lemmy is the perfect alternative for Reddit. Spez can continue to eat glue.
