  • not really the direction i was pointing out, but i’m always interested in the arms race between citizens and those that seek to rule. do you foresee heavier munitions being deployed (by any side)?

one would hope that devs dropping support for a specific site would compel the users of uBlock origin to reconsider the sites they visit and the code they allow to be executed within their hardware… :(

i believe the implication is that when injustice is commonly met with this response, those seeking to exert force upon others do their due diligence

versus the “only the state can do violence and we never make mistakes hurr hurr” that (ahem) they really want the global population to internalize

i need to thank you for reviving a few ancient, happy memories…didn’t realize an icon could do that “comforting smell from childhood” reverie

The first time debian oldstable broke a package after an incremental update, i reconsidered my long running hard stance against arch

Updated my endeavour install last night from 6.18 to 7.1 without issue: daily -Syu is for the birds

if you build it they will come. one thing i’ve found very useful are when folks link to interesting discussions from comments - it makes me appreciate instances, communities, and individuals and look horizontally (the solar punk instance was lovely to discover.) the fediverse feels so appropriate at both a local and global level, having known about lemme for so long i feel a little remiss for not participating more, earlier. long story short just create what you want to see, and give it some occasional attention to nurture its growth
