In this economy they may need to do that a few more times.

Glad to see some sims competition, but not sure that art style is for me.

I look at the docs, see another tool yet again asks to curl | bash to install it, and sob.

Honestly we should add more timezones. How about a half hour offset for Vancouver Island to mirror NST!

Lightspeed in Victoria. They use shaw for cable, and telus for fibre now.

Glad to have switched to a third party provider, even if they're using Telus lines for fibre.

Took me 2 hours to cancel my out of contract services, and 15 minutes to sign up with the new provider. 🫠

See if they can handle a ntsc filter, thats where most of the magic is. beautiful analog noise!

I just returned the 1440p version of this monitor (m27t6) and if you're on linux you might have to force vrr via edid tweaks. Slightly annoying if you're on wayland.

With the tweak or natively enabled in windows it would have vertical scanlines at lower framerates which I don't think I've seen before.

Hopefully the 4k version is better because it was surprisingly nice otherwise.

some games prompt you for bug reporting data collection, this is usually connected to sentry.

You can block their domain on a dns level (i think *.sentry.io would work?), or if the developer has their dsn (the url used for reporting metrics) exposed in a config file, you can probably blank it out without too much trouble.

iirc Apple music's web ui also has sourcemaps, but I'm not subbed to apple music anymore to check. Its neat, but not really a huge blunder, nor takedown worthy.
