She told me that she liked having me around because it didn't cost her energy and often would be restorative for her when we would hang out.

I've gotten that a few more times from other people over the years. Feels pretty good.

Not that I've had much luck with this, but I have tried to explain to customers/managers that the work is like to do is preventative.

Sure it's "expensive" now, but this reduces potential failures AND reduces maintenance time in the future.

This means we spend $ now, but save $$ later 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's a Logitech MX ergo. I switched to it years ago and it helped resolve a bunch of the wrist pain I was having.

Check out creeper world (2, 3, evermore, etc). Sounds similar, although I don't remember if the fog was purple.
