The potatoes definitely were weird. I figured I was out of the loop on some pop culture reference, but maybe just a neighbor with a weird sense of humor.

Radio is a Tidradio H3 with Signal Stick antenna. Used it on GMRS with my kid on his walkie talkie out and about in the hood.

[Beamshot! That’s it in the middle of the bag. Edit: This is candy collected on Halloween holiday in the US.]

RGB mode for most of the walking around and neighbor chatting. Spotlight for when a car comes or when we need to light up a dark candy bowl. Warm CCT lantern for water breaks, eating from and examing the stash.

RGB mode needs memory lol…maybe that’s a feature, haven’t studied the manual.

Little awkward to cary all night, especially in a costume, but not too bad. The grooves actually made it ‘fidgety.’

Will definitely be taking this one out again next year.

In case someone’s wondering wtf, this is because dairy industry oligarchs are trying to make it illegal to call anything milk that doesn’t come from a cow. That said, I’m not sure why an alternate spelling was chosen here.

Book reviews, including positive ones, are found in many scholarly journals. It is understood that it is simply a review by an expert, not a peer reviewed article. That said, an academic book review is kind of a weird thing to share on social media.

“‘Look, it’s not as though he’s an accused money launderer son of a convicted member of an armed criminal uprising without a valid passport who crossed multiple borders via uncertain methods and for uncertain reasons in order to enter the United States in a concealed fashion for uncertain purposes,’ explained ICE representatives.”

Do you have experience with the office software or cloud drive from Mailbox.org? Proton’s spreadsheet app can’t even handle my modest flashlight collection and their Drive won’t mount as a drive on my Linux machine.

I'd like to thank Andy for introducing me to Proton's competitor Tuta.

Hm, I think I’m not that tactical most of the time lol. But good to add to the memory banks as a use case.

Actually, I have an L21B in the mail, but with SST-20-DR (deep red) for wildlife spotting. My understanding is that the L21B in a white LED will have a slightly more "usable spill" than the TD01C but I'm not speaking from experience.

The only good use case I’ve come across is looking at house numbers at night without lighting up the whole house. Generally I’m not a “it’s just fun to see far” kind of person.

And yes, I know there are better performing lights that cost less. I was already making a Wurkkos order and it just fell into my cart.

They used to be about the best you could expect from broadcast TV before David Ellison and Bari Weiss took over CBS.

Not really, but I'm interested too. Front line antifascist groups are also apparently making effective use of drones, so that might be a perspective to look for in a recent documentary.
