I played this game back when it was a Flash game like 10 years ago. Nice to see it's finally coming out.
I also bought a PSTV when they were on clearance for less than 20 bucks, makes for a nice little gaming console for the bedroom or guest bathroom.
The... Guest bathroom???
That's a good recommendation, I haven't used everything in a couple of years but I ought to try it again.
This is great, I've always liked gliding games!
Some feedback:
-
The one thing that threw me off was how delayed flapping your wings is. Pressing space means you'd flap maybe 1.5 seconds later. It would be great if flapping was way faster and you'd instead have a cooldown animation, rather than waiting and then flapping the wings.
-
It might just be a skill issue, but I felt like boosting is too fast and I constantly overshot the finish.
-
It would be great if you can see the score of each completed level in the main menu.
Absolutely, it's a great game.
A bit late, but I really like it :)
It's simple and well laid-out, and I do like the sidebar to quickly jump from post to post.
Nice, good luck!
Looking forward to this, I've never tried creating a game for blind people but I've got lots of ideas.
What else do you want to happen? DX is essential for porting to xbox and some versions of Windows. It's not about open source, devs need this. By your logic should everyone just make a Linux build and nothing else because they're proprietary and evil?
It's a great update for people making pixel-art games in general. Aside from integer scaling, there's a huge amount of tilemap changes and QoL. Also some new functions like rotate_toward makes things easier for beginners.
I hope the rumors are false. Hasn't hollywood ruined enough franchises by now? At the very least give us a remaster of the original trilogy, they're timeless masterpieces.
The new theme is nice and all but condense layout for arrays in the inspector is so beautiful. I have an old project that became unwieldy because of how much space the inspector was taking to edit anything.
