Thats a separate issue, but i do agree with you that it would be extremely helpful if it did

Thats fine, then arch just isnt for you. Use what you want, but if someone installs arch then complains that it broke because they didnt check the news (something that the maintainers recommend you do) then the blame/fault shifts to the user, not the system.

I use PlainApp and I'm quite happy with it. As a lot of these kinds of apps, you do need to be on the same network, but thats not really an issue I find.

Government and people are tightly linked. Governments tend not to stray too far from what their people believe, at least openly, since they want to keep power, and their heads. The fact that the US is now openly doing what its been doing for decades behind closed doors and pretending not to do, means that they at the very least hold the belief that a large portion of the population is willing, open to, and/or indifferent to their actions, finally. Makes sense though, since most US americans are disgusting, racist, fascist, self-centred isolationist rubbish, and have been for a long time. The self aware ones, or those who become self-aware after invading some far off country and realising that they are in fact, the baddies (only after torching a village or tormenting the local populace) are few and far between.

I saw a video recently of a US soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan, Id say sometime in the 2000s (2000-2010), complaining that they're not allowed to retaliate (shoot is actually the word he used) children who it seens regularly threw rocks at their vehicles along that particular stretch of road, and he didnt seem to realise that he was the invader, nor that those are fucking kids and what he was saying was abnormal and sick...

YouTube definitely does that. Im on Brave, been for years, and in the past year clicking on videos makes them load with several seconds delay, with a popup in the bottom left along the lines of "Experiencing interruptions? Find out why" and the help page it takes you to if you click it, basically gives the default reasons of "youre internet may be slow", but IIRC it also includes the reason that you are using ad blocking scripts

It was the Sovereign British Areas that came under attack by a single drone as far as we are aware. Technically its British territory, even though its colonial in nature.

We need people to cancel last minute, or hold on if they financially can. Otherwise, theyll just resell the tickets for cheaper to fill the stands and maintain the illusion that everything is fine and the world doesnt hate them

If that's the case I'll turn this into an exercise. I'll make a simple testing circuit once I'm done with my thesis and see how many I can save. Worst case I get some practice. Best case I get a set of switches for free and recycle. Most likely I'll fry some, save others, and have a stock of spares and some experience. Thanks!

Dont go period. Even before this situation I was actively opposed to it. What people seem to conveniently forget is that the US didn't suddenly become a fascistic empire overnight because of the election of one man. Its been like this, just less "in your face" about it. Most people only seem to care now because now there is a big negative effect on the USA itself as well as other western countries, but previously while it was some south-east asian, or middle-eastern, or south-american (you get the point) country most people conveniently turned a blind eye and just consumerismed.

I can see your point about the price, but I dont need to change the OS on it. They sell the Fairphone 5 both with googled android, as well as a version with /e/os.
