You're threatening greenland, and now threatening spain saying stuff like "we dont need their permission to use their bases", and you have the audacity to act like the victim? 😆

Delete the USA, someone, finally

  • From a different device, start changing all logins/passwords
  • Move your 2 factor authenticator to a different device for now, while changing passwords (set it up on the uncompromised device)
  • Write everything new down in a notebook temporarily
  • Once everything is changed and the password manager no longer contains valid passwords, factory reset the phone if you cant get a new one.
  • Re-add everything from the notebook to the (assumed) clean device, and destroy the pages of the notebook that you wrote sensitive stuff on
  • Re-move authenticator to factory reset phone after a while

Assuming you got compromised by downloading something, or opening a phishing email or something like that, a factory reset should be enough to clear everything malicious. Im assuming this isnt a targetted attack against you specifically. If it is, the attack may be more complicated and go deeper than a factory reset could clear. Im not a phone guy though, so I dont know much about how that would work, I just believe it is likely to be possible.

Nope, still getting stuck in a captcha loop. It may be my strict browser privacy settings. I tried the wayback machine but they don't seem to have archived this article yet

How would I try to track the issue down given I don't exactly know when the issue will appear? Is there a way to set something like a listener on the discord process and just wait for it to happen and see what else happens around that time?

I dont believe its a drive failure after checking. Its a pretty new NVMe drive:

$ sudo smartctl -t short /dev/nvme0n1p3
smartctl 7.5 2025-04-30 r5714 [x86_64-linux-6.17.8-arch1-1] (local build)
Copyright (C) 2002-25, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org

Self-test has begun (NSID 0x1)
Use smartctl -X to abort test

$ sudo smartctl -H /dev/nvme0n1p3
smartctl 7.5 2025-04-30 r5714 [x86_64-linux-6.17.8-arch1-1] (local build)

As for flatpacks, I'd like to avoid such install methods if possible, at least for now. Whats weird is I don't think I've come across anyone else with this issue, so I doubt its something wrong in general with the packagement process.

Pretty much yea thats what I want to do, but I havent started designing the PCB yet, as I wasnt sure how to create the footprints for these components.

If I'm understanding you correctly, in this case I need to kind of "work backwards" and instead of creating the footprint for the board and add pins to it, I need to create the footprint for the headers I will use, and simply mark out a region which the board will sit on so that that area is free from other components?

No lol, Voyager is just acting up xD

Thanks for the clarification! As I said, this is my thesis project for my BSc in Computer Science, but I'm definitely considering a more electronics focused masters, especially given the fact I'm already searching for a job in the field of embedded systems/low level stuff. Might be a good piece of paper to have in the future :)

Thanks! I just joined and registered on the server. It will be good to have that available :)

I tried swapping the files so that the sh3.exe.Backup (original file) was the one being run and the patched version was renamed to something else and it still does the same thing. Could it be something else causing the crash? How can I track it down?

[-] promitheas@programming.dev 1 points 2 years ago

Im in the EU so will probably have to look on the second site you linked, as adafruit.com looks like its only for the US.

As for the advice, yea I was thinking the same thing. I dont want to overcomplicate things and have to deal with coming up for my own designs at this stage. The project I'm interested in building has circuit diagrams and arduino code included, I'm just not sure if it's all still relevant seeing as its quite old.
