Didn't Google used to have Pixel Pass where you get a new phone every 2 years? Then they killed it before the 2 year cycle was up?

Imaging companies promising you a new phone after 2 years and then canceling the program at 22 months and then said oops, here $50 store credit...

Most of the things I horde that's legitimate are firmware for hardware. All too often I need the firmware and the hardware company had been bought and the new company shuts down the firmware.

Also a few images for soft targets so I can test metasploit ect.

It's trivial to spoof

I have it behind OAuth.

And then a reverse proxy via NPM.

I don't know what else to do on it aside from keeping it fully VPNed.

I always have the irrational or maybe rational fear of glass breaking. Any furniture I buy doesn't have any glass elements.

My day to day shopping is 600-800m away.

My specialty store is 1.1km.

3km is a bit too far for me.

The most I've ever willing walked for groceries is 1.5km

Pretty much I have caddy on a VPS that's pointing to my internal IP using a tailscale tunnel. You are still exposing the web gui to the Internet so I just changed authentication to OAuth to mitigate since risk. There is still a possibility of attacks via zero days, but my immich is on a VM and I'm creating firewall rules to just allow certain ports out.

Yeah I agree. I have a drive running Ventoy and that's about it.

Also if I'm moving a lot of data. I'll use a NVMe enclosure to speed up the transfer instead of network.
