Oh definitely, I just didnt expect the Intel's to increase so much or so quickly.

I was planning to pick one up to replace my GPU in my main workstation, and a second to be a transcoding workhorse with av1 support. Unfortunately waiting a bit longer likely won't help considering the tariff nonsense, so I'll probably end up buying last gen for less and waiting a few more years to go current.

Didn't want to assume it wasn't you!

Showed it to some family who also love ttrpg. If we ever get a chance to play I'd love to try and find a 3d print to paint.... Going to have to look.

Maybe I'll DM so I can remove all horses and make them all reverse centaurs....

... Which is the device they specifically mention regarding /e/os in the article.

Considering these are to be used as a router, what are you planning on powering it off of? I can't see much use where you'd put this unit behind a poe switch aside from maybe blocking a problematic device (in a corporate setting to meet security requirements). If it's for a small switch scenario, you'd get the performance out of a (slightly) cheaper dedicated switch.

How about a different number than 1 at the front

Seriously, it's almost a new part every month.

I wasn't born when it came out, but I did get to see it as a rental in ~ 1987 or so, I was young so rough guess. It was well before the box set that came out in 1992 which I got as a gift, which is still with my parents in the gigantic VHS collection (Dad got a camcorder, we have so much recorded, I'm converting it all to digital but by bit).

So at home as a kid on a (by today's standards) small screen - a 25" RCA CRT TV.

Honestly stencils are best for that.

After you get the basics (others covered that), what I like to do when learning a new language is make a series of simple games.

Things like:

  • Guess the number (user input)
  • Hangman (more complex user input)
  • Pong (even more complex user input, graphics, hit detection, etc)
  • Space invaders (arrays, ways to increase difficulty including qty and speed)

Etc. Good luck and enjoy learning!

Theists have been saying all the fun people are going to hell for... Well, longer than anyone possibly on Lemmy has been alive.

Then add in the idea that the Abrahamic God is perfect is so incredibly foreign and laughable that we have to assume you aren't taking the response seriously.

Now I can't say this for everyone, but probably a good number agree with me - we don't believe in God. And if God did exist, we think God is a total dick. And if we were to have the choice of being around that dick and all the people that like that kind of a total dick, who behave like total dicks themselves because they worship that complete dick of a deity, we want to be in the place that contains the opposite.

TL;Dr, I bet they are being very serious about the question.
