Japanese car manufacturers actually sell a lot of EVs... in Japan. They don't seem to be interested in selling those mini EVs abroad.

Sales is up compared to last year but still doesn't meet target? Hmm... this infinite growth thing is harder than I though.

Which EV brands? Those Chinese EVs aren't created equal, the good ones are great for its price, while the bad one should be named and shamed.

Are they still doing the EV credit thing?

Subsidy definitely helps, but those Chinese car manufacturers are able to squeeze their parts suppliers hard, so they're able to sell their cars cheaper even without subsidy. For example, their gasoline cars are about half the price of comparable Japanese models, even with engines sourced from GM/Ford.

Imagine donating your body to science and the scientists slice your brain and scan them, then decades later you suddenly wake up in a virtual space because the scientists are finally able to emulate a copy of your brain in a supercomputer.

Yes, use the SSSL (hackles) setup: https://pretendo.network/docs/install/wiiu#sssl

This doesn't require homebrew, all you need is changing the DNS address on the WiiU from the system setting.

The Bolt isn't cheap though (almost 2x of Honda Fit price), and wasn't produced in sufficient quantity. The Chinese EV companies are somehow able to produce entry level EV models with minimal features at a price cheaper than Honda Fit and they're selling like hot cakes both domestically and in neighboring Asian countries.

companies of the modern era have to justify their existence not just with success, but growth, and Microsoft's been struggling to do that

"The last year or so in videogames," says Bond, "largely the industry's been flat … [we saw some] tremendously groundbreaking games, but the growth didn't follow all that."

Whelp, now that everyone went back to work and not stuck at home anymore, it's actually amazing that the video game industry is still flat, but apparently that's not enough. Probably nothing can top covid19 effect to game industry anytime soon, unless they have another virus in the work /s

Just producing EV versions of Honda Fit or Ford Fiesta like what the Chinese EV makers do is enough. Instead, they keep producing EVs with luxury features (and high price tags) then surprised people won't buy them without subsidy.
