Signal is obviously a honeypot

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I have tried learning Qt but the documentation was awful

I found the Qt documentation to be quite excellent, with tons of examples and a huge community.

But for C I typically use nuklear. There's also microui.

OTF also funded Signal... I wonder why they left that one out.

Distros are still free to make their own RPM packages, they can't go around the GPL there.

But having official flatpak release makes it very easy to update to the latest versions regardless of your distro.

I have a hard time feeling sympathy for tatsumoto because every interaction I had with him was absolutely despicable. He was always a massive jerk, banned anyone who used matrix.org, frequently posted loli on matrix, and links to tons of pirated content on his site.

Very misleading writing style IMO. I would say most of their bullet points ARE actually true in most cases... they just keep bringing up somewhat rare/exotic exceptions as a way to call it a "falsehood".

For those who actually think I said clock instead of cloak :)

Yes there is a risk of bugs being exploited just like any other feature in a browser. Another example is WebRTC being used to de-cloak VPN users. I think WebGPU and/or WebGL also had exploits that allowed remote code execution or escaping the browser sandbox.
