Technically I agree, but I think most people don't put enough thought into it to realize that... like all the people that downvoted me ><
But like I said, in the moment of writing those things I think people are just narrowly thinking about specific things as political and others are not, even if that's not "technically correct", but nobody is perfect.

No current distro is currently installable for blind users due to Wayland.
Wayland doesn't magically make other kinds of keyloggers stop working altogether though.

Why is asking for feedback a bad thing? IMO it's better than just being on by default, and still gives the developers an opportunity to at least get SOME useful feedback instead of all the people that screech about how telemetry should be banned entirely. I would bet money none of those people are professional developers.

They might have pure motives but I have to wonder just how useful that is realistically. The rest of the world does not seem keen on following in their spirit.
